The purpose of the Eaton County Youth Facility Residential Treament Program is to provide rehabilitative services for youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and deemed in need of services by the Juvenile Division of the Eaton County Family Court. It is the goal of the Residential Treatment Program to rehabilitate each youth that participates in the program to such an extent that they develop the skills necessary to lead more productive and positive life. The Eaton County Youth Facility's treatment services to eight (8) youth at a given time in a secure, highly structured setting.
Youth admitted to the Eaton County Residential Treatment Program range in age from 12 to 16, 6 months, and are an adjudicated ward of the Juvenile Divison of Family. The goal of the Residential Treatment Program is to return each youth back to their home or designated release setting as soon as possible. Each youth is assigned to a particular program track. These tracks consist of 30, 60, 90, and 120 earned days. Days are earned through the Token Economy System. Therefore the actual length of treatment is determined by each youth's own progress.
