Community Based Treatment
About the Program
The Community Based Treatment Program supports an 8 bed unit which houses coed youth that range from 12 to 17 years of age that have been court ordered into the program. The Community Based Treatment Program is located in a non-secure, structured setting.
The purpose of the Eaton County Youth Facility Community Based Treatment Program is to provide rehabilitative services for youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and deemed in need of services by the Juvenile Division of the Eaton County Family Court.
It is the goal of the Community Based Treatment Program to rehabilitate each youth that participates in the program to such an extent that they develop the skills necessary to lead more productive and positive lives.
As residents progress through the four levels of the program they are expected to assume additional responsibilities within the program, at home and in the community.
