Pick up Orders

If you cannot get an individual to seek treatment and believe they need treatment. Please complete form PCM201 and file this form with the Eaton County Probate Court by dropping the form off at the Eaton County Courthouse located at 1045 Independence Blvd., Charlotte, MI 48813. After filling the paperwork, the Judge will review to make sure the situation meets the criteria. If he grants the pick up order, paperwork will be generated for law enforcement to take the individual into custody and transport them to a hospital for an evaluation. At that point the hospital will evaluate the individual and make a decision on whether the individual needs alternative treatment and/or hospitalization.
