From November 6-13, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 936 calls for service/events. Higher call volumes occurred in the following areas: Traffic Stops-157, Car/Deer Accidents-74, Suspicious Subject/Situation/Vehicle-52, Traffic Violations-45, Assist Citizen/Motorist Assists-42, Property Damage Crashes-39, Check Well Beings-29, Alarms-27, Traffic Hazards-25, Shoplifting Complaints-20, Larcenies-16, Property Damage Hit & Run-14, Assist Other Police Dept.-13, Personal Injury Crashes-13, Domestic Disputes-13, and Abandoned Vehicles-12.
We are excited to remind you about the annual Fill-A-Cop Car event. Patrol vehicles will be stationed outside the following locations throughout the County accepting donations of non-perishable items that will be taken to area food banks. This event will take place on Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Family Fare in Eaton Rapids
Wal-Mart in Delta Township
Kroger’s West Saginaw in Delta Township
Wal-Mart in Charlotte
Law Enforcement officers from the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office, Charlotte Police Department, Eaton Rapids Police Department, and Potterville Police Department will be at these locations accepting your donations. Hundreds of families are helped as a result of the kindness displayed by your act of giving. The community response is always tremendous and each year seems to surpass the year before.
